As part of National Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, taking place throughout the month of April, The Parkinson Council, a Philadelphia-based organization committed to supporting people with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and caregivers, helped to ring the NASDAQ opening bell in Times Square on April 1, 2013.
Mark Wilkin, Andesa Services’ Chief Financial Officer, serves as a board member and is the treasurer for The Parkinson Council. Mark joined fellow board member Ronald S. Robbins and others in this exciting event.

Throughout the month of April, organizations and individuals across the country will work together to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease – which affects 1.6 million people in the U.S., with more than 50,000 new patients diagnosed each year.
The Parkinson Council provides financial support to Philadelphia-based non-profits and institutions dedicated to improving the quality of life for Parkinson’s disease patients, their families and caregivers.
