Quality Assurance Analyst

In this challenging role, the candidate is responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of test plans and performing hands on testing of various software systems.  Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are vital in working closely with business and technology resources to translate business requirements into effective test plans.


  • Develop, execute and maintain project test strategies and test plans
  • Validation of test results, test defect triage and research
  • Set up and maintain test environments
  • Plan and execute the successful running of test cycles
  • Work with Business Analysts, Systems Developers and clients to determine test criteria
  • Provide production support
  • Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Maintain a client service approach and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with a cross functional team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Analytical, organized and detail-oriented

  • Working knowledge of life Insurance and annuity products and services
  • Familiar with general Software Development Life Cycle principles and practices

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance role
