Andesa Creates Dedicated Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Teams
Implementation Services has evaluated the split of our Analyst Team into dedicated teams supporting Business Analysis and Quality Assurance. Effective August 1, 2017, we will split the team in order to provide the highest level of attention to both business analysis and quality assurance. The Business Analysis team will focus on those accountabilities related to: research, business requirements, system functional specifications, client relationship, defect triage, etc., while the Quality Assurance team will focus on those accountabilities related to: research, test strategy and planning, test execution, defect triage, regression testing, testing automation, performance testing, etc.
With this change, I’m pleased to announce the promotion of Brenda Shea to Manager, Quality Assurance. Brenda joined Andesa in January 2008, supporting Quality Assurance functions on the ADASTAR applications; and most recently has supervised the QA resources in Sarasota. While Brenda will manage the Quality Analysts, Tim Lemon will continue to focus his attention on managing the Business Analysis team.
We believe it is important to provide dedicated attention to each discipline. The dedication will allow individuals to be challenged and grow professionally within their desired discipline. We expect a transition period following August 1st while each of the teams settles into their track, so as not to disrupt client support and/or current assignments in progress.
