Andesa Services Announces Executive Leadership Team Promotions

Andesa Services, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive flexible technology and services within the life insurance industry, announces the promotion of Stephen Budihas to Chief Operating Officer and the addition of Angela Conn, Gloria Hopfensperger and Jacqueline Hunter to its Executive Leadership Team effective January 1, 2021.

We adopted an aggressive strategic plan in 2020 and are aligning our organization around the key strategies therein. It is fitting to recognize Steve, Angela, Gloria and Jacqueline for their past contributions to our efforts as they assume additional responsibilities in pursuit of our Andesa Forever vision,” said Ron Scheese, President and CEO.

Stephen Budihas joined Andesa Services in 2012 as the Human Resource Officer. In 2015 he became responsible for advancing the business operations and expanding Third-Party Administration (TPA) offerings.  His promotion to Chief Operating Officer makes him accountable for executing the operating vision and integrating efforts across Andesa Services’ business, implementation and technology operations. Steve received a BS in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Angela Conn joined Andesa Services in 2015 and has seen her responsibilities increase from Manager of Plan Administration to Manager of Business Operations. She is being promoted to Director of Client Experience accountable for client service, management, and retention. The continued and planned growth at Andesa Services has created the need for this second Director of Client Experience position working alongside Michelle Cramer. Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in Management, and her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Gloria Hopfensperger joined Andesa Services in 2015 as the Manager of Project Management.  Her new position as the Director of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement will include responsibilities in the area of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), which consists of strengthening processes and identifying operational improvements across the enterprise. Gloria graduated from Churchman Business College with a degree in Business Administration and represented her class as Valedictorian.

Jacqueline Hunter joined Andesa Services in 2018 as General Counsel, driving results with a business approach to legal, contracting and risk management.  She is being promoted to Enterprise Risk Management Officer, aligning our Legal, Security and Compliance responsibilities. Jacque holds a BA in Social Work from Rutgers University and her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from New England Law | Boston.
