Thanksgiving 2021- GRATEFUL!

Written by: Ron Scheese

It’s that time of the year where we gather at the holiday table with our families. It’s a season where we pause and consider that for which we are thankful. As we approach Thanksgiving 2021, I have been reflecting about how special Andesa is to me.

In what has been a turbulent and continuously stressful and troublesome time in our world, Andesa has been a source of steadiness and purpose for me.  I am especially grateful for our clientsIt has been impressive to watch our clients adapt, persevere, and grow throughout the pandemic.  Our clients constantly motivate and challenge us to meet and exceed their expectations. They are truly our partners. We share a mutual trust and are aligned by values and an objective to achieve long-term success, together.  And while it felt different to speak to a camera instead of a roomful of clients and colleagues at our 10th Client Forum this year, I was grateful we could get together in a safe manner and share information and ideas.  I look forward to a time when we can again gather and continue to grow our relationships even stronger.

In accomplishing all that Andesa does, I am keenly aware of how very, very hard my team of fellow employee-owners work. And while I like to practice an attitude of gratitude, I must admit that I do not always express my appreciation for the incredible passion and commitment of my Andesa teammates as we try to live our Andesa Forever vision day in and day out. I respect each Andesa employee-owner and admire their talent and commitment to serving our clients and each other. Throughout these past two years, I’ve witnessed much fatigue, disconnection, frustration, and discouragement.  But in a values-based culture in pursuit of our common purpose, I could also observe my colleague’s professionalism and dedication in overcoming obstacles. In this season of giving thanks, I appreciate and applaud Andesa’s employee-owners!!

Despite the pandemic and the challenges of operating in a new hybrid remote work environment, Andesa has made great strides in pursuit of our strategic plan. I am grateful to see what we have been able to achieve together this year. As always, there is still more work to drive us forward to improve the outcomes for our colleagues and clients.  I look forward to a prosperous 2022 and continued traction and success.

To all our clients and employee-owners, I hope you get to enjoy your family and friends this Thanksgiving. I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday!
